About Us
- Jube Dankworth lives in Houston with her husband of over 30 years, Jim.
They have four children, and 3 grandchildren. She has been involved with computers since 1975 and has
been home educating for 20 years. Jube runs is the List Mom for Texas
Home Educators list and for the Greater Houston Area Home Educators
list.
She knew she would home school her children upon reading The Diary of Anne
Frank during her high school years. She noticed their children were in
separate schools and finally homeschooled when the culture had turned
against the Jews. Once the opportunity availed itself 19 years later, she
pulled her children from public schools and has been homeschooling ever
since.
Jennifer, the oldest daughter was homeschooled after 6th grade. She
obtained scholarships from various colleges, and graduated Summa cum Laude
from Oral Robert University, ranking 4th in her college. She is
married to a homeschooled Engineer. They have 3 children who are begin
taught at home. Jessica was the Cadet
Commander of her Civil Air Patrol, was listed in the Who's Who of High
School Students two years in a row, and was on the National College Dean's list. She is
presently finishing her college studies and a member of MENSA. Joy is now
is college. JJ
is active in scouts and is working towards his Eagle. The younger two are
still being actively educated at home.
Jube has attended Oral Roberts University, working on her degree in
